 Dave McAnaney
Dave McAnaney

A road racing fan most of his life, Dave's interest in high performance driving started with the purchase of a 3rd generation RX-7 in 1994. He spent several years running HPDE, modifying his RX-7, and participating in time trials where he logged several class wins.

In 2001, Dave decided to make the jump into racing and chose Spec Miata because of its competitiveness, affordability, and camaraderie. Dave built his own car from scratch and ran an abbreviated 2002 season with both SCCA and NASA. He had a breakthrough year in 2003 with top-10 finishes in all 12 SFR-SCCA races including 6 podiums. The season concluded with Dave garnering third in championship points out of over 100 drivers, just two points short of second place.

A driving instructor since 2001, Dave is a chief instructor with Northern California Racing Club, a Skip Barber 3-day Racing School graduate, and co-founder of Off Camber Racing. Dave uses his engineering background and experience moving up in Spec Miata to make Off Camber Racing customers more competitive.

Dave resides in Davis, CA with his wife, Jeanine.

 Peter Hsu
Peter Hsu

Peter Hsu credits his wife for getting him started in high performance driving when she, as a surprise birthday gift, enrolled him in a BMW CCA driver's school - from that point on, he was hooked.

Peter has been a driving instructor since 2000 and is affiliated with the Northern California Racing Club, BMWCCA Golden Gate Chapter, and NSXCA driving programs. In 2003, Peter assumed responsibilities assisting Justin Hall as a chief NCRC driving instructor.

In 2003, Peter's passion for driving led him to his inaugural season of wheel-to-wheel racing in the competitive Spec Miata class. Peter's hard work, patience and tenacity has paid-off with 1 top 5, 3 top tens, and 1 front row start in the last 5 races. Peter looks forward to continuing to build upon on his success.

Aside from his factory driver role with Off Camber Racing, Peter has assumed responsibilities as OCR Entertainment Coordinator. In his off time, Peter enjoys pondering the philosphical nature of racing and spending time with his family (who through their generosity and understanding make this passion a reality).

Peter resides in San Rafael, CA with his wife, Linda and two sons, Axel and Jason.

 Brad Rampelberg
Brad Rampleberg

Brad has been racing karts, formula cars and sedans for almost 15 years. In 1993 Brad graduated from the prestigious Elf Winfield Racing Academy and school located at the Circuit Paul Ricard in Southern France. Brad won a competition against 80 up and coming American drivers to be sponsored by Elf Winfield to race in the Skip Barber racing series, where he was honored as rookie of the year with 2 wins and 14 total podiums out of 16 races along with 3 fastest laps.

After a hiatus from racing, in 2002 Brad turned his focus to the new Spec Miata class, racing in the Inaugural Mazdaspeed Miata Cup race at Laguna Seca Raceway. In Brad's 1st Miata race he qualified and raced in the top 20, an accomplishment with over 70 drivers qualifying for the race. Shifting his focus to World Challenge for 2003, Brad enjoyed success with the STaSIS Audi/BMW team at Sebring before sponsor troubles forced Brad to the sidelines.

2004 was a breakout year for Brad with his first SCCA Pro Miata pole position and win at Phoenix Raceway in March. Brad led the championship through the spring only to be beset with budget and sponsor troubles and not finish out the SCCA Pro Miata season. During this year Brad became an instructor for the Northern California Racing Club, to not only continue honing his skills but also to help develop other aspiring racers.

2005 has already started off with a bang, with Brad finishing 2nd at the SCCA SFR series opener, held at Laguna Seca. Brad plans to compete for the season championship in the SCCA Pro Miata series, while also competing at select SFR regional races.

Brad currently resides in San Jose, CA with his wife, Courtaney and their 2 Children, Carson and Drew.
